From March 16-25, 2007, performers, scholars and composers from Europe, North- and Latin America will meet in Philadelphia for the annual Bach Festival Week. Please join them in America's revolutionary capital for ten days of delight and exchange!

With more than 25 events spanning from period instrument performances to dance, electronic remixes and visualizations, including world premieres and worships, the International > Bach Festival Week > Philadelphia is one of the largest in North America.

This has become possible thanks to the collaboration of the city’s leading organizations promoting, producing, and presenting Early music such as the Greater Philadelphia Cultural Alliance, the Independence Visitor Center, and the Philadelphia Orchestra Association. We look forward to your visit.

To integrate this season’s events with the endeavors of all other music organizations in Philadelphia, the Bach Festival continues the “Bach 2 Phila Net Project”. This platform pools local resources to help even better position Philadelphia in the global Baroque music scene, integrate local communities, and attract non-local artists and tourists.
